Edition #74 "The Road"
Hi there, here's another edition of heshphoto's "hi-five friday". On the first Friday of each month we like to share five of our images that make us
...happy...

I have always loved the open road. As a feeling, as a theme, as a metaphor, and, also, as reality. Eliza and I are lucky enough to spend a great deal of time traveling around the country in our van and, as we do, I am constantly staring out at that road up ahead. We always do our best to seek out the "blue highways" and take the road less traveled whenever possible. When the space is large and the people are few, that open view becomes a sort of energetic meditation. There is something so exciting about a vanishing point, an empty horizon, that feeling of freedom and the unknown, repeatedly appearing from nothing, like a print in the developer. So this month, here are five of the many, many, endless roads to nowhere. And here's to hoping we may see each other out there.

Thanks for looking and have a happy first Friday!
Now, go out and buy/make/see some art.

Cheers,
H
