Edition #75 "The Explorers"
Hi there, here's another edition of heshphoto's "hi-five friday". On the first Friday of each month we like to share five of our images that make us
...happy...
...happy...
Here's a hi-five to summer and to the wonder of childhood exploration.
Growing up, I was a restless child—one who had serious trouble with the restrictions of the school year. Summer was the time to finally cut loose and run, top speed, into any and all unexpected adventure.
We love and relate to the spirit of these kids - striking out on their own: from Colombia, Sicily, Cuba, and the Adirondacks. A hi-five to breaking free and to pushing the boundaries of that particular lack of independence some kids feel. FYI... the spear is for knocking chestnuts from trees - part of a series called "the chestnut hunters".
Thanks for looking and have a happy first Friday!
Now, go out and buy/make/see some art.
