Edition #51 "Transit"
Hi there, here's another edition of heshphoto's "hi-five friday" - every first Friday we like to share five of our images that make us
...happy...

Revisiting five images from a series I shot for a friend's bar & restaurant in Brooklyn, years ago. When commissioned to create some large metal prints for the blank walls of the backyard beer garden, a small but beautiful black and white industrial space, the subway aesthetic called to me. I wandered around for a few nights with my old Canon and we had the images printed 60 inches tall on uncoated metal sheets (by the now defunct Aspen Creek out of Denver). The prints hung in that space for a number of years and held up to the elements well but sadly, eventually the bar closed. This project was retired and has been sitting in the archives for too long. So many fun, less commercial projects have, unfortunately, taken a back burner over the last few years - a mistake I intend to rectify moving forward.

Thanks for looking and have a happy first Friday!
Now, go out and buy/make/see some art.

Cheers,
Hesh
