Edition #64 "TransPac Starting Line"
Hi there, here's another edition of heshphoto's "hi-five friday". On the first Friday of each month we like to share five of our images that make us
...happy...
...happy...
For nearly a decade now, Eliza and I have lived, at least some of the year, on a 1977 tri-cabin Trawler in the LA Harbor (basically an old classic long-distance fishing boat), and this time of the year is always the most fun. Not only because it's summer, the docks are busy, and the 4th of July fireworks will be directly above us - but also because we are nearly at the launch point of TransPac: one of the world’s oldest and most prestigious ocean races. Many of the boats and crews spent this past week in our marina, making their preparations for the ambitious sea crossing. So here are five pics of some previous moments at the starting line. May all the racers arrive safely in Diamond Head, Honolulu.
Thanks for looking and have a happy first Friday!
Now, go out and buy/make/see some art.
